Wedding Photography Policies

Here you will find some information about how my business operates if you are curious about anything! Check out my FAQ page as well for more information!

Consultation and Booking

Consultation: Prior to booking, you will receive a free consultation to discuss your vision for your wedding day. This can be done in person or on zoom.

You will receive a link to a pre-consultation questionnaire prior to your consult. This ensures we can discuss all important details.

When you fill out the questionnaire you will be able to state the date of your wedding. Once this is done, your date will be secured for 3 weeks. This will give time to schedule your consultation, and give you time to consider the next steps to booking, without worry that your date will be booked once you've made a decision.

Booking: Once you have made the decision to book, you will receive a link to an agreement for signing and an invoice for the 10% retainer fee. Once you've signed the agreement and paid the retainer fee, you will be booked and your date will be saved.

Deposit and Payment

Deposit and Payment

A 10% deposit of the total fee is due at the time of booking. This deposit ensures your wedding date is secured. This deposit is non-refundable with a 3 day grace period from the time of payment.

The remaining 90% of the total fee is due 1 month prior to your wedding date.

Payment can be made through PayPal, Venmo, my website, or by check.

If you pay by check, the check must be in my possession and cleared for me to solidify your photoshoot date.

Cancelation and Rescheduling

Client Cancellation and Rescheduling

If the Client cancels, the 10% retainer fee will remain non-refundable. Any additional payments made will be refunded to the client.

Please note that refunds for any payments made via third-party money transfer apps or banking systems are subject to the processing time frames of the respective service provider.

There is a $150.00 fee for rescheduling within a month of the original agreed upon date. The photographer will, to their best ability, try to accommodate rescheduling, keeping in mind that if the photographer cannot make the new date due to scheduling conflicts the 10% retainer fee remains non-refundable.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by Photographer

In the event that the Photographer (Tori Foht) needs to cancel or reschedule the photoshoot for any reason, reasonable efforts will be made to notify the Client as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations by Photographer: If the Photographer cancels the scheduled photoshoot due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, or equipment failure, the Photographer will refund all payments, including the 10% retainer fee and help, to the best of their ability, to find you a replacement photographer.

  • Failure to Perform: If the Photographer (Tori Foht) is unable to perform the services outlined in your agreement for reasons beyond their control (e.g., acts of nature, illness, etc.), the Photographer's liability shall be limited to a full refund of any payments made by the Client.
